Privacy policy
What data this website and our email correspondence collect, and how we handle it. The short version: server logs held by our host, and whatever you choose to send us by email. Nothing else.
This policy describes what data Sumo Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") collects through the sumosols.com website and through email correspondence, and how we handle that data.
1. What we collect
The website is static and content-only. We run no analytics platform, no advertising trackers, and no fingerprinting. The site sets no cookies. The data we receive falls into two categories:
- Hosting-provider logs. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub keeps web-server logs for traffic to this site — including IP address, browser user-agent, and the URL requested — under GitHub's own privacy policy. We have no direct access to those logs and keep no copies of them.
- Email content. Anything you choose to send us by email: your address, your name if you give it, and the contents of your message.
2. How we use it
Only to reply to your inquiry, maintain the security of our infrastructure, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Sharing
We share data only where required by law, where needed to investigate misuse of our services, or with infrastructure providers — and then only the minimum necessary. Such providers are bound by confidentiality.
4. Security
HTTPS for all transport, minimal collection by default, and access controls on anything we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your data is treated here as an engineering responsibility rather than a policy statement.
5. Third-party content
This site loads one external resource: the IBM Plex typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches them, Google receives standard HTTP request information. Google's privacy policy applies to that interaction.
Everything else — stylesheets, markup, the favicon — is served from this domain. There is no third-party JavaScript on any page of this site.
6. Your rights
If you have sent us email, you may ask us to delete that correspondence. We will do so unless we are required to retain it for legal or contractual reasons. Email contact@sumosols.com with any such request.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least one week.
